Universal Fringes

Universal Fringes

All those luminosities
Overawe the mind of man
Who longs to touch all he sees,
But he has a mortal span

And looks up longingly
At planets, stars and constellations;
Launches and probes through airy seas
To elevate the nations.

With Your blood, my Lord,
You paid the passage rare,
Since we could no way afford
To share in Your glory there.

Beyond this first heaven,
Though ours be time and space
Eternity without end,
Home is to see Your face.
